The sale commenced with a tremendous range of miscellaneous lots, literature and modern coins. Australian Commonwealth contained a number of collections and accumulations estimated from $50 upwards, Kangaroos, King George V period through KGVI and QEII to 1965, with useful varieties and imprints, Decimals with a fine range of errors, Postage Dues, Postal History and Aerophilately. Australian Colonies were well represented and the Rest of the World featured good sections of Fiji, Great Britain, New Guinea and Papua.
