The Pacific region featured material not offered for many years, with highlights including the Cook Islands 1892 1d pair Imperforate between (one of six recorded), and Makea issues with inverted or double overprints; Fiji Times Express issues, large multiples, varieties and a KGVI proof; also fine items in Gilbert and Ellice Islands, Nauru proofs, New Guinea, New Zealand, Papua, Samoa, the Solomon Islands and concluding with the Hawaii 1892 5c Queen Liliuokalani strip Imperforate horizontally. |
