FIELD P.O' cds then in use at Gallipoli, addressed to Fiji where backstamped on arrival (10 AUG 15). Extraordinary item from this Campaign

    1943 (22 Nov) stampless cover (little roughly handled) from Nassau, Bahamas, endorsed 'R.A.A.F. OVERSEAS' in stamp position and 'A421201/Sgt. GODDARD O.E./C/O R.A.F. STATION' on reverse, sent to addressee's daughter in Sydney. A small group of RAAF personnel received advanced pilot training from the RAF in the Bahamas, and this is the first item from that source seen by us
