1d Die II Line Perf 12½ Colour Trial in Green on unwatermarked gummed paper, imperforate at top and with indistinct marks at upper right, some perf defects. These trials were printed from the first printing plate made, which was rejected as defective due to a number of coloured flaws on many stamps, especially in the words 'ONE PENNY' (note spot at top of first 'N' of 'PENNY').
