1915 (19 Aug) picture postcard (Tanteh) and (21 Aug) cover, both addressed to Sydney, both with 'BASE ARMY POST OFFICE/Y' double ring ds used on the hospital ship R.M.S. 'Aragon' in Mudros Harbour. Both items are dated just before proceeding to Gallipoli. The cover is from Private Edge of the 18th Battalion, 5th Brigade, who was killed in late August in the assault on Hill 60 (2)  | ||
