    1930 (23 Jul) envelope endorsed 'Printed Matter Only' to the Netherland Indies posted on board ship with KGV 1d Green tied by Batavia 'PAQUEBOT' boxed cachet (previously recorded in 1935 only) and Soerabaja 'VOLKSTELLING. . . ' slogan cds alongside, batavia '25.7.30' transit on face where re-directed with 'WELTEVREDEN' boxed cachet in red at base, received there on the same day then re-directed to England a few days later, a couple of very minor blemishes

Victoria franked 9½d. Also 1949(?) cover from Granville to Sydney franked 9d with boxed 'NOT IN ATTENDANCE/?DELIVER ORD. MAIL' in red and 'EXPRESS DELIVERY SERVICE/EXPIRED. NORMAL DELIVERY' in violet, and with 'EXPRESS/SYDNEY clock ds in red on reverse. One cover roughly opened and two with flap faults (6)

Sesquicentenary celebrations, the remainder of the collection including covers, many with labels attached (noted 2 x 1937 Air Mail Exhibition registered covers), a large amount of ephemera with medals, badges, photographs, picture postcards, cinderella labels, and literature covering the wide range of activities associated with the sesquicentenary both in N.S.W. and interstate. An assembly that would be very difficult to duplicate, some faults but largely fine (hundreds of items)

    Hordern Brothers (later Anthony Hordern & Sons): 1889-1940s range of illustrated or advertising envelopes and postcards, 1895 registration envelope addressed to Hordern, noted 1901 cover with Hordern Brothers Millinery label affixed, 1897 invoice with 2d adhesive, c1900s Empire Day illustrated lettercard, 1943 parcel post label with 6d Kookaburra strip of 3 and C.O.D. label affixed, 1944 meter front with unusual boxed 'NO SUCH STREET/SYDNEY CITY/INSUFFICIENT ADDRESS/RETURN TO SENDER' in violet, advertising postcards, with a number used. Also a few pieces of ephemera from the Company, including a pocket map of Sydney (25 covers or cards, plus extras)
