Welcome to our 77th sale, which was an online auction only, comprising 957 lots featuring a wide range of Australasian and All-World material.
All Australian Colonies are represented, with many fine stamps and individual rarities, and a fine range of New South Wales and Victorian postage dues on cover.
Australian Commonwealth includes a further selection of coil issues of coil issues a good selection of the ½d and 1d Kangaroo, George VI and Queen Elizabeth II with a number of rare coil starter strips, and coil perf. blocks. The Decimal issues include a fine range of errors, especially of the peel and stick issues.
The Postage Dues includes some exceptional bulk lots of the bicoloured issues which offer a rare opportunity for continuing research. There is also a range of complete sheets in both the monocoloured and bicoloured issues, plus a good lot of monograms and imprints, as well as an extensive range of uses on cover.
Postal Stationery includes the second offering from one of the most extensive collections of Pictorial Lettercards ever formed, featuring the 1914-18 1d Sideface designs, offered individually, and representing a virtually complete set of all views in both perforations. Also offered are the two unique essays for a 1d red KGV reply lettercard. There are also useful ranges of other postal stationery, with strength in postcards, including pre-1911 postcard competition entries, and wrappers.
Rest of the World includes several collection lots, and postage due rarities from Grenada, New Zealand, North Borneo, and Trinidad. From Papua New Guinea there is a fine group of Courvoisier colour separation proofs.
