In this sale, miscellaneous collections and accumulations included better Pacific Islands, another sizeable French lot and Literature with a great range of auction catalogues, both in longer runs and as individual name sales. Rest of the World featured very good sections of British Africa, French Antarctic with Proofs and Imperfs, Germany and Colonies and a nice selection of Great Britain 1d Blacks. Australian Colonies were well represented, with a broad range of adhesives, stationery and postal history. Australian Commonwealth included a fine offering of overseas airmail destinations by rate, collections and accumulations with estimates from $50 to $2000, Kangaroos to £2, KGV varieties, strong KGVI issues, QEII pre-decimal and decimal varieties and Postage Due stamps and imprints.
