    1837 (2 Jun) entire letter \'Pr \"Patriot\" \' to Sydney from a Naval Officer from the ship HMS Acteon at Callao (Peru) via India with forwarding agents complimentary endorsement and \'4\', framed \'Post not paid\' in black applied in India on arrival (11.9.38) where mail was transferred to \'H.M. Ship Convoy\' for departure to Sydney, handstamped on arrival 21.1.38 with crowned Sydney datestamp

    1838-51 selection of stampless entires, the earliest being Sydney to Scotland, 1839 Sydney to London, 1842 and 1850 to Sydney and Edinburgh with \'YASS/POST PAID\', 1844 Maitland to Sydney, 1847 Albury to Melbourne, 1848 Scone to Sydney, 1851 Sydney to Albury, few registered, ship letter markings, endorsements, crowned handstamps, etc, mixed condition (8 items)

    1848 (26 Jan) registered entire to Sydney showing superb strike of framed \'MURRURUNDI/PAID\' in red, endorsed \'Registered\' and \'1/-\' backstamps of Murrurundi and Sydney, staining and internal tear (at right). Only two covers believed known with this handstamp

    1850-1913 cover range comprising Sydney Views 2d (two singles on cover), 3d covers (2), Laureated issues (13), Diadem issues imperforate (6), perforated (17), later period (29) plus postal stationery items (12), wide range of frankings and markings in very mixed condition, majority with faults, few later period fine. Interesting and diverse lot. Inspection recommended
