1902 Blank Base used in New South Wales: 2d cancelled Newcastle cds SP 3/02', 3d cancelled 'NSW' in concentric ovals, 3d with part Armidale 1903 cds, and 6d cancelled Sydney cds AU 15/07. It has long been believed that the Blank Base series was not distributed in New South Wales and was only sent to the other States, but a small number of stamps used in New South Wales have now been found.
