    1913 ½d Green Kangaroo wrapper uprated with ½d Orange George V and used 1923 (Dec) from Wandin (Vic) to Sydney (few minor blemishes), and 1d Red Kangaroo used to London, Dunedin (NZ) and Washington D.C., the latter with 'O.H.M.S.' handstamp, all fine. BW W1,2, cat AU$525 (4)

    1913 ½d Green Kangaroo wrapper miscut and showing portions of the stamp at left and right, mint and folded (including one through stamp impressions), however the only recorded example and illustrated in the BW catalogue. BW W1c, cat AU$800

    1913 ½d Green Kangaroo with large printed 'O.H.M.S.' over stamp impression, as used by South Australian Government Departments, indistinctly cancelled and addressed to Tanunda. Very scarce, this being the example illustrated in the BW catalogue, minor creasing otherwise fine. BW W1ea, cat AU$300

    1913 1d Red Kangaroo cancelled-to-order with 'MELBOURNE/9/VICTORIA' cds dated 9JL14, folded and fine. The Kangaroo wrappers were not sent to the U.P.U., and the purpose of this CTO wrapper is uncertain, very scarce and unlisted by BW

    1915-18 ½d Green KGV (unusual deep shade) used locally within St Kilda, tied by 12OC17 cds, very fine

    1924-27 1d Green Die II used cut-out on thin glazed paper (roughly torn on three sides, just impinging design at top and bottom) with cds cancel. Scarce, BW W13(1) cat AU$500 for complete wrapper

    1914 ½d Stamped-to-Order: Green Kangaroo used to uprate Tasmanian ½d Green embossed wrapper, cut-out (53 x 37mm) cancelled Hobart cds, 22JY14, almost certainly used by either the Hobart 'Mercury' or 'The Tasmanian Mail'. Archival records show only one stamped-to-order printing of the ½d Kangaroo, of 530 wrappers in May 1914 which must represent this compound stamping. The only such State/Commonwealth combination on any form of postal stationery. The only recorded example and an important piece. BW WS1, cat AU$750

    Stamped-to-order Wrappers: 1913 2d Grey Kangaroo Die IIA for 'The Tasmanian Mail' cancelled 'PAID AT HOBART/TAS' cds, 14SE18 and addressed to Pretoria, South Africa, trimmed left and right but with full inscriptions, and very rare, only three examples being recorded. BW WS3e, cat AU$2000

    Stamped-to-Order: 1921 2½d Deep Blue Kangaroo cut-out (57 x 50mm) on brown paper used by Davies Bros. Ltd., Hobart (publishers of 'The Tasmanian Mail'), cancelled Hobart cds, 2SE21. No entires are recorded, and only several used cut-outs are known, this being the example illustrated in the BW catalogue. BW WS5, cat AU$250
