Our Autumn Sale featured a fine range of Australian Commonwealth and included notable sections of Decimal errors, Postage Dues and an original find of Revenues, with values to £30. A highlight of this auction was a superb collection of First Day Covers, with many rare items including most recorded examples of the first stamps issued after Federation, the ‘No Postage’ and ‘Postage’ issues of Victoria.
Australian Colonies also featured a wonderful array of the ‘Charity’ stamps of New South Wales, Queensland and Victoria, with seldom seen multiples on cover. The general World section included a 28 volume collection of aerogrammes and miscellaneous collections. |
