Once thought to be a private roulette, Kellow states \\\'it is now considered distinctly possible that some official experimentation with a rouletting machine took place in Melbourne in the latter part of 1854, and that small quantities of a number of different stamps were treated.\\\' Other denominations known to have been so treated are the 1/- Octagonal and 2/- Woodblock.
