    J.S. Campbell printings: 3d blue, SG 48, very fine pair tied by Barred Numeral \\\'1\\\' (Melbourne) to piece. Ex Perry

    J.S. Campbell printings, experimental roulettes: 3d blue pair (SG 48, creased at top) tied by Barred Oval \\\'1\\\' to 1854 (3 Aug) cover Melbourne to Geelong, paying 6d Inland Letter rate. Once thought to be a private roulette, Kellow states \\\'it is now considered distinctly possible that some official experimentation with a rouletting machine took place in Melbourne in the latter part of 1854, and that small quantities of a number of different stamps were treated.\\\' Other denominations known to have been so treated are the 1/- Octagonal and 2/- Woodblock.     Campbell & Fergusson printings: 3d bright blue, SG 49, pair tied by Barred Numeral \\\'1\\\' to 1858 (25 Sep) cover Melbourne to Sydney per \\\'Wonga Wonga\\\', paying 6d Ship Letter rate. Very few rouletted are recorded on cover. Ex Perry
