    1d: Printing Stones \\\'4/5\\\' 1d pink, rose and lilac-rose shades (SG 28/b) study of the remarkable \\\'squeezed transfer\\\' varieties which compressed the design (often dramatically) in various positions within the printing stone of 400, mounted to exhibition-standard on \\\'Barelli\\\' original leaves, many outstanding items including unused singles (3) and pair, used singles (21), pairs (4), blocks of three (2) and strip of four (ex Pack, Boker), mostly fine to very fine, (44).     1d: Printing Stones \\\'4/5\\\' 1d lilac-rose, rare intense shade, strip of six [10-11-12-22-23-24], SG 28b, [10-11-12] being substitutions for [19-20-21], note largely obscured S.E. corner square in [12] and [24] which is peculiar to this substitution, small scissor-cut and crease in margin at centre. Unique and significant technical item for Stones \\\'4/5\\\'. Most attractive. Ex Pack, Forster, Perry
