Manuscript ‘1/4’ representing the 2 x 8d incoming ship letter charge. Left flap missing, otherwise a very fine and clean cover. Only four Sydney View covers showing the 2 x 5d inland + ship letter rate are recorded, one being in the Vickery collection in the Powerhouse Museum, Sydney. Two of these bear a strip of three 3d in combination with a 1d, of which this is by far the finest.
