ANTARCTIC EXPD.' cds 9 FE 11, with Lyttelton backstamp (31 MR 11). Accompanied by typewritten insert from Secretary of the Post and Telegraph Department. Back flap roughly opened, otherwise fine.

ANTARCTIC EXPD' cds on Kinsey cover from the second mailing on board RMS 'Terra Nova' at Cape Evans, subsequently mailed on board SY 'Aurora' with the Australasian Antarctic Expedition from Cape Denison, showing two strikes of the circular 'LOOSE SHIP LETTER/POSTED IN/ANTARCTIC/S.Y. AURORA' cachet, one tying Tasmania 1d Pictorial, also tied by Hobart cds dated 17 Mar 13, and with three line cachet signed by Ship's Captain. Ink stain on reverse does not detract, and a rare dual Antarctic cover
