Unfortunately the majority suffers from toning, some severe, hence the low estimate (many 100s)

Lot 634		Estimate: $200 1935 cover-fragment originating in Liverpool (G.B.) carried aboard the ill-fated 'City of Khartoum' which crashed at Alexandria 31 December, with Sydney G.P.O. explanatory memo dated 17 January 1936, the whole once contained in 'ambulance' cover (Sydney Jan 21 1936 cds). A remarkable instance of philatelic forensics
