    Collection on hagners, smattering on earlier stamps, then 1935 to 1986 largely complete on a simplified basis (no pre-decimal postal fiscals and few Officials), and including 1935 Pictorial set, 1953-58, 1960-66, 1967-70 definitive sets (incl $4-$10 postal fiscals), few Ross Dependency and Life Insurance, etc. Up to 1960 mixed */**, thereafter superb MUH. Also 1973, 1975 1976 (x 2), 1977, 1978 (x 2), 1979, 1980, 1981, 1983 collector's sets and a few PO Packs and booklets (600 stamps, 10 M/S, plus collector's sets and packs)

    Estimate: $100 Realised Price : $525

    c1900-1950 accumulation of mint issues incl many blocks, strength in 1935 Pictorials and 1940s commems, also Express Delivery, Postage Dues, etc, also Cook Islands incl 1932 and 1949 Pictorials in blocks of 4, and Niue 1932 and 1950 Pictorials in blocks of 4. Unfortunately the majority suffers from toning, some severe, hence the low estimate (many 100s)

    Hagners in binder with 1929-1985 Healths complete including all miniature sheets, lacking only 1930 1d + 1d and 1931 Smiling Boys, all but a few of the earliest issued MUH. Also Christmas issues 1960-1985 complete. Very fine (176 + 47 M/S)

    1944 10d on 1½d Surcharge, 1949 Health 1d + ½d and 2d + 1d, 1950 Health 1d + ½d and 2d + 1d, 1951 Health 1d + ½d and 2d + 1d, each in a complete sheet of 120, a few peripheral faults and all sheets with some units affected by toning (840)

    1991-97 collection of MUH Decimals complete in two Seven Seas hingeless albums, including miniature sheets, airs etc., missing three Frama labels. Retail incl albums AU$2000+ (100s)

    1927 High Value Admiral definitive master die proof in Red with blank value tablets and red surround on thin card (114mm x 87mm), with reversed instrument number \'10701\' at middle top and printed \'206527\' reference number at top right. A stunning proof and possibly unique

     

    Lot 631

    1947-52 King George VI definitives 4d, 5d, 6d, 8d and 9d die proofs in black each on thin card with large margins around designs, all affixed to large (151mm x 113mm) \'BRADBURY, WILKINSON & CO.\' card, with manuscript \'Approved (initials)/30/10/45\' at top left. Unique and very attractive

    Franks: 1950-51 envelopes (6) to the same addressee in Wellington, each bearing franks of various government departments, with High Commissioner for N.Z., Minister of Health (2, in green, one with tone spots), Minister of Finance, and General Assembly (2). Some minor faults caused by opening of envelopes, otherwise good (6 covers)

    Estimate: $200

    1935 cover-fragment originating in Liverpool (G.B.) carried aboard the ill-fated 'City of Khartoum' which crashed at Alexandria 31 December, with Sydney G.P.O. explanatory memo dated 17 January 1936, the whole once contained in 'ambulance' cover (Sydney Jan 21 1936 cds). A remarkable instance of philatelic forensics

    1968 (7 Apr) use of G.B. 9d air letter to New Zealand (Golfing/sailing slogan cancel), carried on BOAC Boeing which crashed the following day at Heathrow, bearing handstamped 'SALVAGED FROM AIRCRAFT/ACCIDENT LONDON 8-4-68' in green, AAMC 1622a

    Victoria Land: 1911-13 1d Carmine block of 4 with central 'BRIT ANTARCTIC EXPD' cds divided into four singles, two with large part OG (one with horizontal crease), other two small part OG. SG A3, cat £480
