    1915-16 NWPI opt on Kangaroo First Wmk 6d Ultramarine, SG 78, vertical 'abc' strip of three, fresh unmounted. Grossly under-rated in catalogue

    1916 (21st Mar) long "O.H.M.S." envelope to England bearing KGV 1d Red (slight soiling and missing corner perf) tied by blotchy 'RABAUL' cds, with violet 'passed censor Rabaul' applied twice (one inverted!) at lower left and mss. endorsed with initials, central fold through cover. A scarce usage

    1916 (27th Apr) long OHMS registered cover to Italy (!), bearing Kangaroo 6d Ultramarine, tied by 'RABAUL' cds (additional strike beside). Rabaul registration label affixed and straight-line 'PASSED-BY-CENSOR' struck in violet. Registered Sydney and Italian transit and arrival backstamps. An outstanding destination cover

Chicago and Columbus transit and arrival backstamps
