    1938-54 Definitives, used accumulation in album, partly sorted according to printings, including 10/- (16) and £1 (13), plus a few mint multiples of lower values and a range of pieces mostly franked with combinations of high values with 10/- (9) and £1 (12). Also smaller accumulations of the 1954 and 1960 Definitives values to 20/- including pieces. Condition generally well above average (100s)

    1938-54 1c Black and Brown imprint/plate no blocks of 14 from Centre Plates 3A and 3B with R9/6 normal, and from Centre Plates 5A and 6A with variety 'Damaged Left Value Tablet' (R9/6), and sheet of 100 from Centre Plate 4A with variety 'Retouched Left Value Tablet (R9/6). Also block of 6 from top right corner of sheet with variety 'Re-entry in Lower Left Corner (R1/10). Fine MUH, SG cat £250+ (162)

    1938-54 Coils: 5c Reddish-brown and Orange and 10c Brown and Grey M with gummed join on reverse, 50c Purple and Black U from coil, plus 1940 (10 Mar) cover to England with 10c Red-brown and Orange vertical strips of 3 (3), pair and singles (2) from coil, one strip showing gummed join on reverse. Also 1954-59 QEII 5c, 10c and 50c MUH strips of 10 from coils showing join on reverse. Scarce material (32M + 1U + 1 cover)

    1954 QEII set mounted in folder (130 x 187mm) titled 'POSTAGE STAMPS OF EAST AFRICA' with descriptive text on inside front cover and stamps affixed opposite by hinges. The stamps comprise the full set less the 15c issued in 1958. With paper slip affixed indicating the price of the folder was 42/-. Also a separate leaflet describing the new issue. Scarce

    Postage Dues: 1935 Watermark Multiple Script CA 5c to 1s punctured 'SPECIMEN' fine lightly mounted, also a mint set of the issued stamps. SG D7-12, cat £298 (12)

    Postal Stationery: KGVI group, comprising unused 10c Grey, 15c Red Postcards (2, one opt 'SPECIMEN'), 15c Vermilion, 20c Brown-orange Envelopes opt 'SPECIMEN, 30c Blue Registration Envelope mint (H&G C7) and opt SPECIMEN (H&G C5), and used 20c Brown-orange envelopes (2 – 1943 internal, and 1941 uprated to Bombay, some tears), 30c Blue Registration Envelopes (H&G C5a) (2 - 1939 to Ireland, and 1942 to Pretoria). Condition generally very fine (11)

    1930s to 1960s accumulations of covers, mostly commercial but with a smattering of first day and souvenir covers, and showing a wide range of frankings with values to £1, rates and destinations, commemorative issues, some postal stationery and a group of WWII censored covers, postmark interest. A very useful lot (approx 220 covers)

    1939-50 group of KGVI covers, mostly to U.S.A., six are censored, and including a 50c pair on formular airletter, and 20c x 2 on 1939 cover to Seattle, underpaid with 2 x 2c U.S. postage dues added (13 covers)
