Fine mint range of European countries on hagners, mostly 19th century (including a few imperfs) to mid 20th century, with good selections of Austria, Belgium, France, Greece, Italy, Monaco, range of Scandinavia, and smaller groups of other countries. A number of better stamps are included, and condition is generally very fine, a few instances of foxing noted. An excellent lot for breaking up and resale (approx 800)

British Commonwealth Postage Dues: A study of the De La Rue standard numeral design used by many Colonies, including panes of 60 of various values (8, one the 1884 Trinidad ½d), showing the various duty plate varieties, offset varieties of the duty plates, Barbados 1935 1d bisected on piece, St. Lucia Statehood overprints, and examples of the Watermark Script CA watermark bit errors. Also a range of the various new designs adopted by various countries for replacement of the De La Rue design. Mostly mint, and generally very fine. A very interesting assembly capable of expansion (approx 1200 stamps, two covers)
