    Postal Cards: 1903 photographic essay for a uniform postal card issue showing a map of Australia, emu and arrowroot farming, and with Vaughan KEVII imperforate essay in sepia (as BW E3, an unrecorded colour) affixed at top right, endorsed 'Rough Sketch/10.8.03/CP', reverse with chamfered boxed 'POST AND TELEGRAPH DEPARTMENT/C.11710/QUEENSLAND' ds in blue, 11 DEC 03. Central horizontal crease and some minor blemishes resulting from removal from official file. Ex Dr Leslie Abramovich, Carl Steig and John Sinfield. A remarkable and unique essay, illustrated in the BW catalogue on page 1

These cards probably represent a submission from a private post card manufacturer as samples for a series of pictorial postcards. Rare and ex Dr Leslie Abramovich (3)

    Postal Cards: 1957-59 4d on 3d Dark Green QEII Die 1 (Base of Neck Unshaded) and with variety 'No Stop after D', very fine and used from Elsternwick (Vic) to Melbourne, 4 June 1959. The addressee was Melbourne stamp dealer F.H. Feibes, however the message is a personal invitation. A very rare card which represents the uprating of a small remainder of the Die 1 cards held by the Note Printing Branch. BW P77d, which states 'Two used examples are recorded . . . ', cat AU$1200
