    Stamped-to-order Cards: 1914-16 ½d Emerald-green George V Sideface for Alexander Fergusson Pty. Ltd., used in Melbourne 21 AU 15, the card illustrated in the BW catalogue, very fine used. BW PS5A, cat AU$600

    Stamped-to-order Cards: 1919 1d Red George V Sideface (BW P28) with printed message on reverse for David Cohen & Co. Ltd., uprated with ½d Green 'Star' embossing for the 1½d war tax rate. Addressed to Sydney and with message dated 13 June 1919, but uncancelled. A major postal stationery rarity with only two examples recorded, the other to the same addressee is dated 5 September 1919. This card is the only example of a private uprating of a post office issue. Fine and ex John Sinfield. BW PS8, cat AU$5000

    Stamped-to-order Cards: 1930-37 1½d Brown George V Oval Embossed with O.H.M.S. heading and printed message from Registrar-General's Department, very fine used from Sydney to Moss Vale, 23 September 1931, rare. BW PS24, cat AU$1500

    Stamped-to-order Cards: 1930-37 1½d Brown George V Oval Embossed for J. Kitchen & Sons with printed message on reverse including advertising for Velvet Soap, used from Morwell to Chelsea (Vic), 1 February 1931. Some minor spotting on left side of card, otherwise fine and rare. BW PS24, cat AU$1500

    Stamped-to-order Cards: 1941-50 1½d Green George VI Oval Embossed headed 'ADVICE CARD' and with printed message for H. Jones & Co. Ltd., used from Hobart to Launceston, 23 June 1949, showing the variety 'Die Crack Below ½ at Left'. Very fine and scarce, BW PS29d

    Stamped-to-order Cards: 1941-50 1½d Green George VI Oval Embossed used by Victorian Education Department and cancelled by Melbourne machine, 8 June 1949. Additional printing on front and reverse in red, and with 'I.681/6.40.-7080.-50M.' imprint at lower left. Note that the use of 'OS' dies for stationery was discontinued in 1933, hence the use of the ordinary indicium. Few minor blemishes, otherwise fine. BW PS29, cat AU$150
