1906 N.S.W. Essay of Unstamped Universal Reply Lettercard on Greyish-green Card with Pink Interior Zig-zag Roulette 15 in Dark Blue, some separations along fold and some toning, mostly full O.G. and fine, rare. This card was submitted to the U.P.U. Congress in Rome where several countries put forth their proposals for a Reply Paid system. The basic idea was used for the Commonwealth Reply Lettercard, and the same paper stock was used for the 1d KGV Sideface Military Lettercards in 1915. Ex Lederer
