    Two-volume collection of commercial airmails to U.K., 1929 to 1945 (arranged in flight date order), earlier sent via Australian internal airmail service, noted scarcer and unusual rates including 1934 9d card rate (uprated 1½d Postal card - via first regular service), 1934 9/- (5/- Kangaroo (fault) + 1/- Lyrebird block of four), 1938-39 all-up 5d rates (2 x double rate), Clipper rates, multiple of 2/1d rate, useful frankings, registereds, Too Late and taxed markings, etc, also 1935 Australian Govt airmail to Australia, faults in places, generally fair to fine commercial quality (201). Good basis for specialised study of the individual flights, routes and rates

Abroad' (one 6/5d Clipper rate), etc, noted higher (6/10d to Germany) and some unusual rates, Late Fees, registereds, better frankings, terminated airmail markings, etc, faults in places, generally fair/fine commercial quality (77). Useful lot with many scarcer items present

    Holland: 1931 (23rd May) first flight cover bearing Small Mult Wmk 9d (2) and 2/- + KGV 1d Green flown Sydney to Holland, cachet in violet. Scarce adhesives on cover

    Kenya: 1934 opened-out registered airmail cover to Nairobi bearing Small Mult Wmk 2/- + 3d green Air (another removed), Cairo transit and Nairobi arrival datestamps, where unclaimed, forwarded to India where 'UNCLAIMED/REFUSED LETTER' labels affixed and cacheted at Madras and Bombay, DLO cancels and returned to Melbourne. Full of character

    Sweden: 1935 (18th Mar) airmail cover Melbourne to Kungsbacka bearing Small Wmk 2/- + ANZAC 2d, Athens transit backstamp, minor blemishes. Scarce destination
