The 1d, 3d, 4d, and 6d have the watermark inverted. Part OG on some, the 1d is somewhat faded, and there is minor toning on the reverse of several stamps. 1902 Blank Base ½d, 1d, 2d, 4d, 6d and 5/- and 1902-04 Base Completed 5d, 10d, 1/- and 2/- affixed to piece of ledger page, each handstamped 'ULTRAMAR' in purple as applied by the Portuguese P.O. to stamps prior to sending to their overseas Colonies. These stamps represent the Queensland U.P.U. distribution, which were supplied in mint condition. Tone spot on 5/-, and others with slight overall toning however an attractive and a rare set. Only the ½d, 2d and 10d are currently catalogued by BW, at AU$325 each (10)
