    Mint and used mounted collection of various KGVI and QEII issues with emphasis on plate varieties, mostly illustrated by line drawings. The more extensive studies include 1948-56 2/- Aboriginal Art, 2/6d Aboriginal; 1951-52 3d Green, 3½d, 6½d Brown and 6½d Green KGVI; 1953 3½d Produce Food, and 1954 3½d Royal Visit. Some toning but generally fine and much of interest for the student of these issues, with many listed varieties included (100s M and U)

    1938-56 ½d Orange Kangaroo extensive mounted study of this stamp and its plate varieties, virtually all mint, with Perf 13½ x 14 Ash (3) and McCracken (3) panes of 80, Perf 15 x 14 Wmkd and No Wmk numerous sheets and panes plus smaller multiples, Sheet D block from miscut sheet showing imprints at top and bottom, coil perf strips with varieties, coil starters, etc. some minor toning in places, but generally very fine (1000s)

    1937-49 Perf 13½ x 14 ½d Orange Kangaroo McCracken imprint blocks of 4 (2) showing crack through first line of imprint (advanced state) and cracks below imprint (early state) respectively, both with upper units hinged and lightly toned gum, and latter with vertical crease through right-hand pair and with several tone spots.     1937-49 Original sepia head and shoulders photograph of Queen Elizabeth mounted on board (120 mm x 100mm), identical to the portrait used on the 1d Green definitive. Few very minor blemishes on face, and with paper label affixed on reverse endorsed 'Photo by/Dorothy Wilding'. A remarkable original source photograph and a superb frontispiece for any George VI collection, an imprint block of 18 of the Die I stamp is also included

Attractive example of scarce franking for rarely surviving postal service
