    Other Cancellations: Manuscript 'Torquay' with date on 1853 4d Courier, 1855 4d Wmk Large Star (just touched at left but with horizontal crease) and 1857-67 4d Watermark Double-lined Numerals (3, each touched on one or two sides), plus '91'; Second allocation numeral of Torquay on 1857-67 Imperf, 1d and 2d sidefaces and ½d Tablet (8)

    Other Cancellations: Handstruck '4' of Macquarie Plains on 1855 Watermark Large Star 2d Green, cut into at base

    Other Cancellations: Handstruck '4' of Macquarie Plains on 1855 Watermark Large Star 4d Blue, just touched at lower right

    Other Cancellations: Barred Numeral '1' of Melbourne used to cancel stamps on arrival, with 1855 4d Blue pair (four margins, close at top left), in red on 6d Chalon (touched at right), and in blue on 6d Chalon (four margins). A fine and scarce trio (4)

    Other Cancellations: 4d Courier (heavily repaired) cancelled Victorian Barred Oval obliterator 41 (post office unknown but thought to be Apsley, rated RR), legible strike and a very unusual cancellation on a Tasmanian stamp

    Instructional Markings: Range on hagners of markings used as cancellations on Chalons, Sidefaces and Pictorials, with 'INSUFFICIENTLY/STAMPED' (8), 'TOO LATE', 'LATE/LETTER' (9), boxed '(P)OST(AGE)/FRE(E)', 'ADVERTISED/BUT UNCLAIMED', 'SHIP LETTER' (2), 'LOOSE LETTER' (two types, 3), 'LOOSE SHIP LETTER' (two types, 21), also a few registered markings. Mostly fine and a very fine group (53, a few on piece)
