    1901-02 Watermark Crown SA Perforation 11½-12½ (large holes) 1/- Dark Reddish Brown, vertical marginal strip of three, variety 'IMPERFORATE HORIZONTALLY', SG 148a, lower unit creased. Very fresh and fine. One of the great rarities of the Federal period. Unpriced in Stanley Gibbons

    1890 (May) 'REPRINT' and 'SPECIMEN' overprints including 47 adhesives to £20 on two presentation sheets, together with Postal Notes 14 values with serial numbers '00001' 1/6d to £1 overprinted 'SPECIMEN' (wavy) in red, affixed into 'POSTAL AND TELEGRAPH/CONFERENCE./ADELAIDE, MAY 1890' hardbound report inscribed in gold on blue, presented to 'THE HON. B STAFFORD BIRD.' (Postmaster General of Tasmania), additional manuscript message on inner leaf 'With J H Gordon's Compliments' (President of this Conference and Minister for Education in South Australia). Slight imperfections to cover, with contents in very fine condition

Possibly an unique destination
