    1852 Laureate 6d Plate I Proof in Deep Chocolate-Brown on thick yellowish wove paper, margins except where tapered slightly into at upper right corner, slight thinning, lovely impression. Extremely rare

    1852-53 Laureate 6d Vandyke-Brown, SG 73, margins except at base, and 1851 2d tied to 1853 (6th Jan) registered envelope (wax seal excised) Goulburn to Sydney, handstruck 'REGISTERED/GOULBURN' at left, reverse mss. 'Goulburn/7/1/51' and Sydney crowned arrival backstamp

    1856 Diadem 2d Die Proof (stamp size) in Black on India paper mounted on card. B.P.A. Cert (1979) states '... a genuine Die Proof from the penultimate state of the Die'. Extremely rare

    1856-59 (6d.) 'REGISTERED' Vermilion and Prussian Blue, error 'FRAME PRINTED ON BACK', SG 102a, minor corner crease. Grossly under-catalogued at £2750 - this being the only unused example of the three known, one being in The Royal Collection. 2002 BPA Certificate (as the then SG 88a). Ex Hutson, Manwood
