Lot 185		Estimate: $900 1894 (10 Aug) 2a Blue registration envelope uprated with 1890-95a Brown pairs (2), 2a Vermilion and 2½a Black on Yellow-buff, tied by Mombasa cds. With Zanzibar and Aden transit backstamps, and carried by Messageries Maritimes to Australia ('LIGNE T/ PAQ FR NO. 6' octagonal backstamp). Some very minor marks, otherwise very attractive and probably the best of the handful of covers to Australia from this unusual origin (all addressed to J.H. Parry in Sydney)
