1936 (20 Oct) cover from U.K. to a passenger on board ship to be collected at Colombo, but arriving too late, with boxed 'RECEIVED AFTER/SHIP'S DEPARTURE' in red applied, fowarded to Melbourne by air, with 'T' in hexagon, with mss '9d', and on arrival oval 'T' with mss 9d (for airmail forwarding). Postage collected with 1931-37 C of A Wmk 1d and 4d pair tied Elizabeth St. Melbourne cds, six strikes of similar cds on reverse while awaiting ship. A fine and interesting cover  | ||
