1½d Red Die II Perfs 14 and 13½ x 12½ study of the Void Corner variety (2L59) and its corrections and associated imprints, with First Mullett imprint (7), Second Mullett imprint (2), Third Mullett imprint (6), Fourth Mullett imprint (2), Fifth Mullett imprint (25), First Ash imprint (5), Second Ash imprint (3), Third Ash imprint (1), Fourth Ash imprint (1), and Fifth Ash imprint (3, two with TWO PENCE surcharge). Rarities include the Second Mullett imprint block of 6 and strip of 4 (two of the three recorded pieces, BW 91(2)zf), and Fifth Ash imprint strip of 5 (the only recorded example without TWO PENCE surcharge, BW 92(2)zl, cat AU$5000. Unfortunately, there are a number of pieces with gum toning or rust problems, nevertheless many are fine and this is probably the finest study of this famous stamp that has ever been put together.
