1915 (9 Nov precedes the earliest date given by Emery by two days) Cairo Y.M.C.A. envelope with '2ND AUSTR. DIV./FIELD P.O.' cds, and boxed 'PASSED BY/crown/No. 3021/CENSOR' in red, and 1915 (23 Nov) similar cover with No. 3035 censor mark. The 2nd Australian Division arrived in Gallipoli on 6 September and left in mid-December. The field post office is believed to have been at Rest Gully. Both covers with faults, ex Emery (2)  | ||
