    3d selection: Laid paper 3d Deep Blue used (3 shades), pair on 1860 (25 Oct) cover (slight toning) with Perkins Bacon 6d, Wmk 'THREE PENCE' 3d Pale Blue unused (crease), pair on neat 1861 cover to Glasgow with 'FLOWER MCDONALD & Co' oval handstamp, used (3); Maroon perf 12 used (3), perf 13 unused (straight edge at left) and used (2) (13 + 2 covers)

    6d Black pair, SG 94, used on 1861 (22 Aug) entire (missing side flaps, crease) Avoca to Bordeaux with Emblems perf 1d pair, tied by BN '14' of Avoca, rated '8'. Very early use of the 6d (issued 20.8.61). An attractive franking
