1854 Diadem 1/- Plate Proof in Deep Blue on unwatermarked paper, close margins with thinning, with two portions of "Rowland Hill" ‘CANCELLED’. Cat £10000. Ex Forster and Jaffé
Six examples were prepared at the request of Ormond Hill in 1861, and presented to colleagues, including his uncle, Rowland Hill. Four examples of the 1/- Diadem proof have been recorded from the vertical block of six, of which this is No. 4; No. 3 is in the Royal Philatelic Collection

1860-72 Wmk Double-lined numerals 5d, 6d, 8d (2), 1/- and 5/- optd Type 2 diagonally. Also additional examples of the 5d (2), 6d, 8d (2) and 1/- with perforations trimmed to resemble imperforates. 1/- thinned, but condition generally good and rarely offered as the complete set (12)
Approx 1600 of each value were prepared in 1870 and issued between December 1870 and March 1871

It has been stated that 120 3d stamps overprinted Type 12 were issued in January 1893
