Vermilion and Prussian Blue block of four pos. [39-40/49-50] full margins with corner selvedge and large part original gum, with a few creases (mostly gum-related), the face has some slight soiling and a number of blue printing ink smudges. These imperfections are minor considering this must be considered one of the most important blocks in New South Wales philately. Two mint blocks of imperforate (6d) Registered stamps are available in private hands. This block of four is the finer, the other being an adjoining block of six with severe creases which still resides in the Hutson collection. From the Snowden.
