    Range of 7d issues, with A1 mint, A2 mint (2), A4 mint (3) and opt SPECIMEN, and used (3, one used on Melbourne-Christchurch first flight, and another the Deep Bright Blue shade), also 'TEN PENCE' on 7d (A5) mint (2) and opt SPECIMEN. Mostly very fine

    1945 7d Deep Blue on Greyish with printed cachet for re-opening of Qantas Australia-England service via Singapore, used from Sydney on 7 April 1946 and backstamped at Singapore, signed by pilots, fine and the example illustrated in the catalogue, ex Nita Wilson. BW A3d, cat AU$225

    1952-53 10d Deep Blue mint (3), opt SPECIMEN in red, and used (27, including two carried on 1953 Coronation flight, one used in Papua New Guinea), a number showing marginal screw marks or pips, or other minor varieties, mostly ex Nita Wilson (31)

    1953-1965 accumulation, most issues represented, with mint, used, SPECIMEN overprints (8), minor varieties, etc, some unfolded. The used include a number with special postmarks, including 1962 World Power Conference and 1965 Sydney Trade Fair registered usages with provisional registration labels. Also with private licence types (5), PNG issues (4) and formular types (2). A useful lot, mostly ex Nita Wilson (62)

    Estimate: $400 Realised Price : $800

    1960 10d Deep Blue with 'Overseas Service' added at top left, overprinted large diagonal SPECIMEN (79mm x 12mm) in red. This aerogramme was not distributed to the U.P.U. and the overprint appears to have been applied only for archival purposes. BW A13a, which states only three examples are recorded, cat AU$500. Ex Nita Wilson and the example illustrated in the catalogue

    1960 10d Deep Blue with 'Overseas Service' added at top left, handstamped diagonal 'SPECIMEN' (88mm x 5mm) inverted (possibly unique as such). BW A13wa, thought to be produced inadvertently when the OHMS aerogrammes were handstamped (the BW footnote regarding rarity is in error, as a small quantity has now been identified)

    1966-1979 Decimal Issues Range, with mint, used (including first day cancels and first flights), 1966 9c handstamped SPECIMEN, 1972, 1977 and 1979 Christmas packing slips, 1968 5c Defence forces mint (2), various minor varieties, etc. (57)

    1971 12c Green and Orange-red error 'All Green Printing Omitted', unused and folded, one or two light wrinkles, otherwise fine and rare. BW A37 variety (it is possible this error is actually A36 or A37, since with green printing missing, identification is ambiguous). Ex Nita Wilson

    1972 12c Christmas handstamped sans-serif SPECIMEN in blue-violet (55mm x 10mm), and handstamped 'PMG/TEST LETTER' in violet, both folded but unsealed and fine; also another handstamped sans-serif CANCELLED in blackish-purple (59mm x 10mm), folded and sealed, all ex Nita Wilson. BW A39w,wa,wb, cat AU$300

    Estimate: $100

    1952 'Postage/Paid' OHMS airletters (BW AO1) handstamped 'SPECIMEN' in violet (4), one with printing in Blue, two with printing in Blue and 'ON HIS MAJESTY'S SERVICE' in Indigo, and one with all printing in Deep Blue, two show the variety 'White Flaw Between A and I of MAIL'. Also an example used to England uncancelled but with message dated 20 Mar 1957 (5)

    c1952 'POSTAGE/PAID' OHMS airletter used from Melbourne to Bellevue, Ohio, 21 July 1960, 'HIS' changed to 'HER' and 'AIRLETTER' to 'AEROGRAMME' with typewriter. Very fine, the rare variant with 'POSTAGE/PAID' in capitals, BW AO2, cat AU$750

    1959 OHMS Jet Design overprinted SPECIMEN in red for U.P.U. distribution, handstamped SPECIMEN in violet for collector sale, and used (2, in 1962 to London, and in 1969 to USA), generally fine (4)
