    Gallipoli selection comprising Field Service Post Card (6, various printings), one with Soldier at rest smoking pipe headed 'Trenches/Gallipoli/5th Oct 1915', picture and other postcards (3), one a rare Gallipoli inter-unit item, and other (3) including homemade envelope fashioned from writing paper (used by Lieut Henry Loban Montague killed in action 15.4.1918), OAS cover of 2 AP 15 from Mudros Is Greece (off Gallipoli), and 21 JY 16 use of Troopship lettersheet posted at sea between Gallipoli and Egypt with fine 'A.I.F./Passed by Censor' maritime Censor handstamp in purple, etc, some with faults consistent with misadventure, generally good quality (13).     1944 (18 Jul) rare use of PPC (‘KANGAROO’) from Australia to U.S.A. by U.S. Serviceman, from the series supplied to Australian Forces, U.S. Censor

    1945 (21 Sep) use of Air Mail Letter Card to Sydney by Liberated POW (British) headed 'Manila/Philippine Is' with handstamped 'PASSED FREE/OF POSTAGE' and very fine strike of rare 'AUST ARMY P.O./243' (3 P.O.W. Reception Camp Philippines). The writer states 'I suppose you will have thought me killed in the 'battle of Java'. Well I was within an inch of it, 80% of my unit were killed.'
