No. 1', variety of censor and 'SHIP' handstamps, generally good strikes, scarce group (14), also 1950s covers from Darwin with differing types of 'H.M.A. SHIP' (one 'H.M.A.S.') handstamps (4)

    Netherland Indies: 1942 (Feb-Apr) covers to L/Cpl W J Chung sent airmail from Melbourne at concessional 9d and scarce 5d concessional airmail rates, showing fine strikes of 'ARMY POSTAL SERVICE/DELIVERY IMPRACTICABLE/RETURN TO SENDER' handstamp [Chung was a member of Gull Force, Ambon Island and subsequently died a P.O.W.]
