    1870 (28 Jan) large part cover from Sydney to Antigua via Southampton per R.M.S "Geelong", franked 6d and 1/- Diadems Perf 13 each cancelled and tied with Sydney duplex and representing the ½ oz rate, and with arrival backstamp. The cover rather flimsy and repaired at top, left and rear flap and portion of the reverse missing nonetheless of good appearance

Very fine quality, representing the 11d ½ ounce via San Francisco

Flap missing, otherwise an attractive 'Paid All' cover

Double oval 'SHIP LETTER/1D/LATE FEE' applied, with the fee collected by Completed Base 1d postage due Perf 12 x 11 tied by 'NSW' in ovals obliterator. Very fine and scarce

    1905 (18 Mar) picture postcard ('Whangarei') endorsed 'Printed Matter only' posted shipside and addressed to Young (NSW), with N.Z. ½d cancelled Sydney duplex on arrival. With manuscript 'Def ½d Late Fee 1d' in blue pencil (obscured), and with handstruck double oval 'LOOSE SHIP/LETTER’ and '1D' and '½D'. Fees collected by Completed Base ½d postage dues Perf 12 x 11 (x 3) cancelled indecipherable rays obliterators. A fine and scarce usage
