    1849 entire letter to England with strike of 'PAID AT/HORSHAM' in red and backstamped 'HORSHAM/SE24/1849/PT PHILLIP' in black (earliest recorded date), rated in mss. '1/2' and corrected '11d' for carriage to Melbourne only, the 3d ship letter rate unpaid and '8' in black for GB private shipletter rate. Provenance: Ex Perry, Kelly
