    1845 (29 Sep) entire letter headed 'Shell Island' from Mary Robson to Hobart Town, endorsed 'Paid' and '4', with Hobart segmented datestamp applied for inward paid mail, fine. [The Robson family harvested shells for making lime]

    1850 (31 May) small cover from Crediton to Launceston, Van Diemen's Land, endorsed '8', then forwarded to Bothwell and rated '5' to be paid by the addressee [4d incoming Ship letter + 1d Inland delivery]

    1892 (22 Nov) use of ½d Envelope from Hobart to New Norfolk, with oval '(mss. 3) D/MORE TO PAY', Hobart and New Norfolk backstamps, slight soiling

    Cancelled in Victoria: Selection of Chalons (17, imperf and perf) and Sidefaces (2) cancelled in Victoria, comprising BN 1 on 4d (4), '1' in thin bars on 1d, 3d, 4d (2), 6d (10, one in blue). Also 6d Chalon cancelled 'NSW' in concentric ovals. An attractive and unusual group (19)
