    Lot 154
    Estimate: $1,000

    1870 and 1871 two entire Letter Bills intended for Green Ponds handstamped 'MISSENT-TO/HOBART TOWN' in red and black respectively. The only other known examples are fragments, making this the only known complete "pair". Ex McNamee, and Reid. [Previously sold in our October 2004 sale where the pair realised AU$1550+}

    c.1895 inwards use to Hobart of G.B. ½d Wrapper 'The Bank of Australasia', hexagonal 'T/5/L', oval '(mss. 1).D/MORE TO PAY' in black, minor faults

     

    Lot 156
    Estimate: $80 Realised Price : $60

    1904 (23 Mar) inwards use PPC to Ulverstone from Guadeloupe, bearing 10c tied by double-circle datestamp, Devonport West transit and arrival backstamps. Exotic origin/ destination

     

    Lot 157
    Estimate: $150 Realised Price : $115

    1905 (21 Jul) PPC used locally at Hobart bearing Pictorial ½d and 1d, the latter additionally tied by framed 'POSTED OUT/OF COURSE' in black (38x17mm - similar to type #149). Scarce
