Lot 425		Estimate: $400T Realised Price : $480 1856 dated (25 Dec) front from Ouse to England bearing Chalons 4d (2, both with four margins, small tear on one), cancelled with pen strokes, Liverpool Ship Letter arrival 7 Jan 1857. It was a peculiar affliction of the Ouse postmaster to date all letters using the month of December!
