    1853 4d Dull Orange Plate II, clear margins all round, small thin in top margin, cancelled '64' numeral. SG 11, cat £375

    1856-57 No Watermark 1d Deep Red-brown on Pelure Paper horizontal pair, three small margins and touched at left, slight thin at top. SG 24, cat £1500

    1889-91 Surcharges - ½d on 1d Scarlet Reprint blocks of 12 on thin card from bottom left and top right corners of sheet with Plate No. '1' (latter block with corner piece missing well away from stamps), being imperforate remainders of the 1901 reprint made for the Federal Presentation Set (24)

    1906-09 Watermark Crown over Double-lined A Perf 12½ 10/- Mauve and Brown, part OG with a few adhesions on reverse. SG 258, cat £275

    Revenue: 1966 selection of Stamp Duty decimal frankings (some £sd combinations) on Tasmanian Government Tourist & Immigration Department cheque forms (110+), values to $5, many unusual including multiples. stated no duplication amongst configurations, condition mixed at times, mostly good

    Frank Stamps: Small group with 1883 (22 Sep) cover with 'THE TREASURY' Frank Stamp used from Hobart to Forth, vertical fold, otherwise fine, and the earliest recorded example of a Tasmanian Frank, the system commencing just six weeks prior (ex Karman); 1887 (13 Jul) and 1888 (7 Aug) matching pair of covers with 'THE TREASURER' Frank Stamp in black used from Hobart to Launceston, both with straight line 'REGISTERED' (in worn and recut states respectively) the first roughly opened with small portion of back missing; and c1901 cover with 'HQ DEFENCE FORCES' Frank Stamp in bright green, some peripheral toning but a scarce user (4 covers)
