    1842 (17 Jan) inwards entire letter Bedford (U.K.) to Sydney, rated '1/-' and '8', re-addressed on arrival in Sydney (backstamp) to Berrima, where 'LIVERPOOL' datestamps in black applied

    1854 (10 Feb) small cover from Liverpool (backstamped) to Sydney, adhesives unfortunately fallen off, address deleted and 'FORWARDED/---/FE*11/1854/*N.S.W.*' applied (White type V17). Very scarce marking

    Riverina Cover: 1870 (31 Dec) cover to England endorsed 'Via Southampton' bearing NSW 1d DLR pair cancelled rays '49' with Wagga Wagga datestamp alongside, together with Victoria 6d blue, datestamps of Tarcutta, Albury, Melbourne and London arrival in red. 1998 RPSV Cert states 'a genuine cover, to which the Victorian six pence does not belong'.

    1881 (8 Aug) inwards cover addressed to Sydney from G.B. bearing 6d tied by Tewkesbury datestamp, reverse with Sydney 22 Sep datestamps, re-addressed 'C/- H.M. Consul/San Francisco' where on arrival 2 Nov 81 struck with 'DUE 12' in black and oval 'PAID ALL' in violet, Postage Dues 10c and 2c affixed and cancelled. Minor blemishes, still a very scarce taxed cover

    1890 colour hand-illustrated cover of Japanese master, used to Austria, bearing 6d tied by Sydney duplex, Brindisi and Ala backstamps, slightly reduced at left. Beautiful item
