    1871-84 WMK CROWN OVER NSW TYPE I, ONE PENNY TO ONE SHILLING

    1d Dull Red Perf. 13 used horizontal pair error ‘Imperforate Between Vertically’ cancelled ray type ‘215’ of Quirindi, with line watermark showing the pair to be from the base of the sheet. The catalogued error (SG 207a) is for a horizontal pair imperforate vertically, of which at least two pairs are recorded, one in the H.L. White Collection in the Mitchell Library. No other example of the imperforate between error offered here can be traced. SG 207a, Cat. £2000
